Applications on Google App Engine

Use Google App Engine to help move your business to the cloud. Appirio offers packaged and custom applications that use Google App Engine to connect and extend leading on-demand platforms like Salesforce, Amazon and Facebook.

Appirio was excited to demonstrate the new capabilities of Google App Engine at Campfire One, held at the Googleplex on April 7. We showcased a lightweight recruiting application we'd built as a extension to our Viral Recruiting product, and were impressed with the capabilities of the platform. We look forward to using Google App Engine to help our customers do more with the cloud.

Our Offerings

• Appirio Recruit (beta) - Appirio's Referral Management solution allows companies to encourage, manage, and measure their best source of new talent - employee referrals. This application needs to connect to an "applicant tracking system" to work, but companies use all sorts of different applicant tracking systems... the most common one is probably Excel. To complete our solution for these customers, we wanted to build a lightweight applicant tracking solution to plug into our referral management app. Building on Google App Engine allowed us to quickly deploy this application using Google Web Toolkit and an end-to-end Java developer experience. • Custom Application Development on App Engine: Appirio is excited to add Google App Engine to the set of tools we use to help our enterprise customers do more with the cloud. Appirio offers a full range of custom application development services, including project management, requirements analysis, design, construction, testing, training, production, and post-go-live support services. We're looking to use Google App Engine as a complement to the other on-demand platforms on which we develop, particularly when integration with Google Apps, use of the Google Web Toolkit, or low-cost scalability is required.
