Effective April 1, 2017, Rajeev Kumar will be Chief Customer Officer. He will be responsible for the continued innovation and success of Appirio’s Customer Experience strategy. His new role will include the development of long-lasting relationships with new customers, nurturing existing accounts, and leveraging the global reach of Wipro Technologies to drive joint opportunities between Appirio and Wipro.
Previously, Rajeev served as Global Head of Campus Hiring at Wipro, where he spearheaded strategy for Wipro’s Campus Talent Acquisition 2.0 and hired University Graduates from countries across the world, including Australia, Brazil, China, India, Mexico, Romania, South Africa, Singapore, the U.S. and the U.K. He was awarded by the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) for his contribution to technical education in India.
Rajeev is the founding member of Snehalaya, a non-profit organization that has been providing services to women, children, and LGBT communities affected by HIV, AIDS, poverty, violence, and sex trafficking, for over two decades. He is also the author of “Defying Destinies,” a nonfiction book about human trafficking.
Rajeev holds an MBA in Strategy and Masters of Science in Information Systems from the Boston University School of Management.
